This oil painting is created from a photograph I took of this view from a balcony in Mexico. I focused on the decorative lights hanging against a city background. I love the use of color against black and white. In this case it is a reminder to stay vibrant no matter what life throws at you, to keep shining despite what is happening in your surroundings.
