Chapter 29
Solo Exhibition 2018
Arthurs Pub, Co. Dublin, Ireland
"Chapter 29" is my personal art exhibit that gives you a sneak peek into my creative journey during my 29th year, just before I started my adventure in Canada. This collection of paintings and sculptures is like a diary of my emotions, experiences, and inspirations from that year, showcasing my different sides.
Different Strokes
Solo Exhibition 2012
Naas Library, Co.Kildare, Ireland
In Co. Kildare, Ireland, back in 2012, I presented this exhibition "Different Strokes”, an exploration of my Cameroonian and Irish roots interwoven. This collection of paintings was inspired by vintage family photos and was perhaps the beginning of me asking myself questions about who I am. The work presented was a vivid mosaic of contrasts and connections that define my identity and became a passport to my personal journey of self-discovery, a journey that led me to explore the intricate threads that connect my unique heritage. Beyond the images, this exhibition was a heartfelt dialogue that encouraged not only my own reflections but also invited visitors to contemplate their own stories of heritage, belonging, and the timeless dance between generations.
Once Upon a Time
Solo Exhibition 2015
Naas Library, Co.Kildare, Ireland
In "Once Upon a Time," a 2015 art exhibition held at Naas Library, this collection of delicate ceramic sculptures reimagined beloved childhood fairy tales. I made these sculptures during a transitional time of my life were was interested in re-connecting with my childhood joy. Through these sculptures I attempted to capture the essence of each story, evoking cherished memories and the enduring magic of these narratives. In the cozy setting of Naas Library, "Once Upon a Time" merged literature and art, offering a nostalgic journey into the captivating realm of storytelling.
